Chalet Dijla in winter

Chalet Dijla, at 1400m, is just a five minute walk to the village and local ski slopes. Skiing, snow boarding & tobogganing are some of the most popular winter sports and the local pistes have links to the slopes and facilities at Les Mosses; just two kilometres away. The ski slopes and facilities of Leysin are just a short bus ride away and are also accessible with the same ski pass. Skiers of all abilities are catered for, a nursery slope for beginners and red and black runs for the more experienced. More challenging slopes are available within a short drive, at Saanen, Gstaad and Les Diablerette.

There are also excellent ski de fond routes from the village. La Lecherette, has occasionally, hosted the Swiss championships and there are regular tournaments held in the village and nearby.

There are local horse-sleigh rides from the neighbouring village of L'Etivaz or at Launen, near Gstaad. Enjoy your sleigh ride, swathed in warm blankets and return to a hot toddy and Rosti. La Lecherette is very popular with both Swiss and French families. It is known more for the leisurely winter lifestyle rather than a wild night-life.
